Southern Bank Welcomes Reed Tyler as Commercial Loan Officer in Paragould

Jonesboro, AR – Southern Bank is proud to welcome Reed Tyler as Commercial Loan Officer at its Paragould, Arkansas branch, where he will work closely with local businesses to deliver tailored lending solutions and support economic growth in Northeast Arkansas.

Tyler brings an accomplished background in commercial banking, most recently managing a combined commercial and deposit portfolio exceeding $32 million. Known for his results-driven approach, he consistently increased his commercial portfolio by more than 25% annually for three consecutive years and achieved a 20% individual deposit growth rate. His dedication to asset quality, relationship-building, and cross-department collaboration aligns perfectly with Southern Bank’s commitment to exceptional service.

An Arkansas State University graduate, Tyler began his banking career with Simmons Bank after completing a Commercial Lending Internship there. The program provided hands-on experience across mortgage, retail, credit analysis, and appraisal departments—solidifying his passion for commercial lending and customer-focused financial solutions.
