Online Banking Security Upgrade – Feb. 2022

In the coming days, Online Banking will undergo an enhancement to implement one-time security PINs for all logins and profile updates. This upgrade adds another layer of protection to online banking.

What this means:

Every time you log in to the online banking platform, you will be prompted to enter a one-time security PIN.

This PIN code will be delivered to you via email, text, or both, depending on your current alert settings. The PIN will be sent to the email or phone number associated with your online banking.

You will also be prompted to enter a security PIN for any transaction actions – external transfers, changing contact information, etc.

When the change occurs, the system will guide you through the process of obtaining and entering the security pin.

If you have not set up text alerts within online banking, you will receive your one-time PIN through email. If you would like to receive the PIN through text message, make sure you have added your mobile number to online banking and that you have enrolled to receive text alerts.

We highly recommend enabling text alerts to ease the process of obtaining the security pin and logging in. Texts are often received and viewed faster than email, leading to a quicker login experience.

Complete instructions for viewing or changing settings and enrolling in text alerts are available here.
